Bamburgh Castle is known for its chilling history, haunted by the ghost of a woman in a white dress. Reported sightings include her walking the battlements, and unexplained sounds echoing through the halls. The ghost is believed to be Lady Isabel, who died in the 16th century after a tragic love affair ended in her being locked away in the castle’s tower.
