In April 1967, eight witnesses observed a silvery, monk-like figure moving across the priory’s east window. A powerful shaft of light illuminated the figure, revealing a cowl and rope belt. The group experienced a sensation of hair standing on end and later saw the figure watching them from the cemetery.
