This Jacobean mansion is said to be haunted by a ‘Grey Lady’ believed to be a former bride trapped in a chest during a game of hide and seek. Her sobs echo through the halls, and her shadowy form has been seen near the old nursery. Guests report feelings of intense sadness and vertigo when walking the grand staircase.
