Tissington Hall is home to the spirit of a young lady who tragically died in the 18th century. Her ghost is said to haunt the upper floors of the house, and visitors often report hearing the soft sounds of her singing and seeing her apparition moving through the halls. The house is also said to be haunted by several other spirits, including children.
